A resume should be concise, accurate and up to date. A resume should include: applicant’s name, address, contact phone numbers, a brief statement of goals and objectives, education & training, employment history, and references.

Choose a format and style that is professional.
Use a simple typeface and avoid excessive use of unusual fonts, italics etc.

List education and work experience in reverse chronological order (in order of the most recent).
