Future Electronics is a global leader in electronic component distribution with approximately 5,000 employees in 155 offices, in 35 countries around the world.

With this global business comes the responsibility to comply with the export and import regulations of the United States, Canada, Singapore, United Kingdom, as well as those of the other countries in which we do business.

 

To support this ever expanding business, Future Electronics has implemented a “best practice” Trade Compliance Program including, but not limited to:

·          Quarterly meetings of the Executive Compliance Councils in North America, Europe and Asia

·          A team of experienced, highly trained employees for product classification

·          A training program with modules tailored to the employee’s business environment

·          A rigorous export determination program to monitor restricted parties and product licensing requirements

·          A dynamic pro-active import program to meet all regulatory requirements

·          Open and continuous communication to all employees worldwide on regulation updates and product related compliance information through the Internet and Intranet websites, the quarterly Trade Compliance Newsletter and the worldwide Training Program

·          An innovative Trade Compliance Champion program that puts trade compliance support at the “front lines”, in the sales branches

·          A “reasonable care” program as defined in the U.S. Customs Modernization Act of December 8, 1993, is followed
