600 Watts SMB Package Transient Voltage Suppressor
 
This surface mount Transorb transient voltage suppressor SMB uni directional series is used for sensitive electronics protection against voltage transients induced by inductive load switching and lighting on ICs, MOSFET, signal lines of sensor units lighting on ICs, MOSFET, signal lines of sensor units telecommunication. The SMB series 600 W peak pulse power capability with a 10/1000 μs waveform, repetitive rate (duty cycle):0.01 %. The smb series meets MSL level 1, per J-STD-020C, LF max peak of 260 °C.

SMBJ12CA-E3/52

The smb12ca comes in a low profile package DO-214AA which is ideal for automated placement. It offers excelent clamping voltage, very fast response time and low incremental surge resistance. The smbj12ca offers 12 V of stand off voltage.
