Murata Electronics offers a variety of coils, including choke coils with low DC resistance intended for power supply circuits, general-purpose chip coils suitable for voltage increases, and high-frequency chip coils that provide low-loss and high-Q characteristics at high frequencies.
Users can select the optimum characteristics by choosing from monolithic, film or wire wound construction and a wide range of inductance values and tolerances. Some types also allow for magnetic shielding.
LQG15HS series is comprised of chip inductors specifically designed for high frequency applications. LQG15H series is designed to realize stable characteristics in high frequency range applying an integrated multilayer process.
Using an integrated multilayer process enables a wide range of inductance values with a tight tolerance. With mobile phones installing color LCD’s and camera modules, the power consumption of these units becomes higher. In order to reduce power consumption a low DC resistance is strongly required which the LQG15HS achieves.
