Agilent offers a variety of active and passive probes for its oscilloscopes family. Current probes are also available to generate a voltage output proportional to an input current in the user’s circuit.
“Active” probes contain a small active amplifier built into the probe body near the probe tip which makes it possible to keep the probe input capacitance very low. The 1156A was specifically designed for Agilent’s Infiniium and the 6000 series 300 MHZ – 1 GHz oscilloscopes.
The 1156A 1.5 GHz High-Speed Active single-ended voltage probe is ideal for a range of high speed applications. This probe's small size offers R & D engineers the performance to probe small geometries in hard to reach areas.
