The AS1331 is a synchronous buck-boost DC/DC converter which can handle input voltages above, below, or equal to the output voltage. It operates on lowest quiescent current of 22µA only resulting in highest efficiency up to 90% over a wide range of load currents. Combined with a shutdown current of typically 100nA the AS1331 extends the lifetime of battery powered applications to a maximum.
The AS1331 additionally offers a battery monitoring circuitry which can also be used for power-ok signaling.
