The CV2101 is a fixed function Application Specific Standard Product (ASSP) used for automotive video event recorders (VERs). Used for enhancing driver safety, the CV2101 is delivered with software tools for the PC to view previously recorded video. This device is designed to ensure low power consumption and deliver best performance in a smallest solution footprint.
All video recording is handled by a highly optimized H.264 video processing encoding and decoding engine. The CV2101 VER incorporates a 128Mbit SDRAM in package, in addition to a 2 GByte NAND flash configured in a package on package (PoP) configuration. The CV2101 has variants qualified for industrial and automotive temperature ranges.
A reference solution module – the CV2101 VER Reference Design Kit (RDK), is a platform available for demonstrating and evaluating the CV2101 VER for after-market automotive camera applications.
