Avago's HSMG-C170 is a green surface mount chip LED with the widely used 2.0 x 1.25 mm footprint. This package is compatible with IR reflow solder processes. The small size and wide viewing angle makes this LED the ideal choice for backlighting applications and front panel illumination especially where space is a premium. Other features of the HSMG-C170 include a 170º viewing angle, 15 mcd luminous output, wide operating temperature range of -30ºC to 85ºC, and diffused optics.
