The Cyan USB / Ethernet / Cy-Net3 Gateway is a compact unit offering access to a Cy-Net3 network through an Ethernet or USB connection. The Cy-Net3 protocol is handled by a Cyan eCOG1X microcontroller and using the Micrel MICRF6xx Radiowire® RF transceiver, operating in the unlicensed ISM bands at 433, 868 or 915MHz depending on geographic region.
The main processor board includes a Cyan eCOG1X14Z5 microcontroller with on-chip Ethernet and USB peripherals. Cyan’s microcontrollers are fully supported by our free integrated development environment, CyanIDE, which includes a sophisticated device configuration tool and an unrestricted ANSI C compiler.
Key features of the board include; eCOG1X14Z5 72MHz MCU with 512Kbytes flash, 10/100 Ethernet PHY with RJ45 twisted-pair connection, USB interface supporting up to 12Mb/s data rate, 16Mbytes SDRAM, SD/MMC card socket, eCOG1X1A5 or eCOG16E01A6 MCU running Cy-Net3 wireless network, Micrel MICRF6xx Radiowire RF transceiver, Power supply: 5V (standalone) 3.3V (module), Cyan Driver Framework including support for Cy-Net3 module, USB library support and is available as a standalone board or as a module (daughter board)
