The HCPL-0738 product family offers many desirable properties such as high speed, wide temperature operation, low PWD and low tp to meet DeviceNet and Profibus application, 5kV isolation voltage, and dual channel device is available to save space.
The HCPL-0738-000E is a high speed 15 MBd digital CMOS logic gate optocoupler.  This inverter is an SO8, dual channel with an isolation voltage of 3750 Vrms.  The HCPL-0738-000E has a maximum operating temperature of 100 degrees Celsius, + 5V CMOS compatibility, and a maximum propagation delay time of 60 ns.

The specific applications for this product family are:  AC plasma display panel level shifting, CAN Bus, CC_Link, microprocessor system interface, multiplexed data transmission, and switching power supply.
