Power Supply Reference Design Boards & VIPer® Development Software
The VIPer Design Software helps the user to design a switch mode power supply
in flyback topology with VIPer devices.
The software starts by showing a typical switch mode power supply in flyback topology.
The designer can insert the input parameters, the output parameters and the VIPer needed
for his own design and the software will give the billing of material (BOM) both in a
graphic and a text version and will calculate the dissipated power of the complete converter
as a sum of the dissipated power of all the engaged components.

CONSTANT CURRENT SOLUTIONS
ST provides ICs which can drive multiple series or parallel high-intensity LEDs. Driving multiple
LEDs in series provides three clear advantages. First, no matching is required. By eliminating
the need for LED matching, we provide a low-cost drive solution. A serial LED configuration will
also deliver consistent luminance across each LED, maximizing light output in a highly
cost-effective solution.
MODULAR REFERENCE DESIGNS
The evaluation boards for each of the offline (120VAC – 240VAC) and DC/DC applications are
designed to drive any number of high-intensity LEDs within a specified range, without any
hardware modification. We offer a number of solutions and reference designs based on your
input voltage requirements.
