Please be assured that TE is exploring options to minimize the impact to your supply chain. Specifically, TE is (1) continuously working to learn our suppliers' resulting allocation decisions and determine how those allocation decisions are going to impact our production; and (2) where possible, actively testing alternative material procured from an alternative supply source. Please be prepared that we may approach you for urgent decision making in this regard. However, due to the unprecedented supply challenges and raw material shortages, TE must respectfully advise that these circumstances (i) render TE's performance impossible, and (ii) constitute a Force Majeure event under all applicable agreements between TE and its customers and their respective affiliates. As such, TE will not accept responsibility (including the responsibility for financial costs) for any resulting line-down or other supply chain related charges.
