The compact 823A series fuse, which has a 1,000 V dc rating, provides reliable over-current protection in battery management systems and high-voltage dc-dc converters.

Littelfuse has released the 823A series surface-mount fuse which meets the strict requirements of automotive applications, offering strong over-current protection for 1 kV dc systems. This makes the 823A series valuable for engineers designing electric vehicles and other advanced automotive systems.

The Littelfuse 823A series features an innovative wire-in-air design, resulting in superior temperature stability, a high interrupting rating of 100 A at 1 kV dc, and a high I²t value in a small form factor. The resistor has a footprint of just 5 mm x 20 mm.

The 823A series is available in two versions: the 0823001.MRA has a current rating of 1 A, and the 0823002.MRA has a current rating of 2 A.
