Field-installable M8/M12 Ethernet connectors cut cost of equipment commissioning

TE Connectivity supplies complete M8/M12 Ethernet connectivity systems which simplify the design and installation of connectors in industrial equipment. The robust connector components support high data rates with high signal integrity.

The M8/M12 Ethernet connector system from TE Connectivity (TE) provides a full solution which includes connectors and cable assemblies. Field-installable, the connectors enable industrial equipment manufacturers to decrease installation and tooling costs. 

 

The M8/M12 Ethernet connectors are suitable for use in applications requiring high bandwidth, and are rated for data-transfer rates of up to 10 Gbits/s.  

 

TE also supplies shielded and unshielded Cat 5e and Cat 6A cable assemblies. Standard offerings in lengths of 1 m, 3 m, 5 m, and 10 m cover a wide range of application needs.  

 

For rewiring on-site, field-serviceable connectors are provided, allowing versatile systems to be quickly and easily established. Additional styles are available on request, including alternative mounting arrangements for panel-mount connectors and double-ended cable assemblies. 

 

TE also offers industrial Ethernet patch cables with overmolded X-coded M12 connectors.
