Murata XRCGB Family of Crystals

Compact crystals offer high reliability in consumer electronics applications

The Murata XRCGB family of crystal timing products offers low Equivalent Series Resistance (ESR) values and high reliability for use in consumer electronics devices.

 

Providing output frequencies ranging from 16MHz to 50MHz, these crystals provide accurate and stable timing signals to wireless systems such as Wi-Fi®, Bluetooth® Low Energy, NFC, and Zigbee radios, and to wired Ethernet or USB transceivers.

 

The XRCGB crystals’ 2.0mm x 1.6mm package benefits from a simple structure which has a single-layer ceramic plate. The crystals offer a greater assurance and stability of supply in production volumes than competing crystals that have a multi-layer ceramic plate. This is because of the constrained supply of multi-layer ceramic assemblies. 

 

The particle screening process deployed by Murata also provides for superior reliability. ESR values range from 50Ω to 200Ω.
