manufacturers to create more efficient, longer lasting solutions, and can be deployed in fixtures and lighting schemes in many settings, including entertainment lighting, emergency vehicle lighting, landscaping, pools, yachts and aircraft cabin lighting. The extension of these color portfolios gives lighting designers a much broader palette to work with, whether to create interest, excitement or intrigue, or to achieve ultra-high quality white light with a color rendering index approaching 100.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>In the <strong>LUXEON 2835 Color Line<\/strong>, the addition of PC Red-Orange, an InGaN LED, offers many advantages over its direct AlInGaP Red-Orange counterpart:<\/p><ul><li>Simpler engineering when mixing colors<\/li><li>The same forward voltage as other InGaN LEDs<\/li><li>A more stable and higher output across the temperature range<\/li><li>Common form, fit, and optical height<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>With the introduction of PC Blue in 2022, the LUXEON 2835 Color Line has 13 different colors and three white options, giving it the broadest selection of colors of any portfolio.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>In the <strong>LUXEON Rubix <\/strong>family of very small, powerful emitters, the PC Amber LED produces luminous flux of 250 lm; Lime produces a powerful 510 lm at 1,500 mA. When LUXEON Rubix LEDs are used in color mixing, objects can appear more vivid, and higher CRI values can be achieved in color-mixing applications. With the addition of Cyan to the LUXEON Rubix color range, manufacturers of entertainment lighting fixtures can achieve CRI values as high as 98.
