introduced two surface-mount, automotive-grade photodiodes in a compact 0805 case with a low 0.7 mm profile which is 0.15 mm lower than the previous generation of photodiodes.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>The VEMD4010X01 has a sensitivity range stretching from 550 nm to 1040 nm for applications requiring detection of visible and near infrared (IR) light. The VEMD4110X01, which is sensitive over the IR range from 740 nm to 1040 nm, features a daylight blocking filter, and is suited to use with IR emitters operating at wavelengths between 830 nm and 950 nm.
