General Product Description:PCN_A_01_OthersDescription of ChangesThis Product Change Notification (PCN) is to inform about a manufacturing location change from TE Esztergom to TE Tangier (TAC2), for listed Part Numbers, according to VDA Trigger Matrix No. 29 and AIAG section 3.1, item 4. The change has no impact to form-fit-function. TE Change process follows a strict procedure, which fully maintains quality and ability to supply. Internal release process is ensured by TE, including product validation as per OEM/CAM requirements (if applicable). Validation will be initiated and completed according to project plan, as soon as samples are available.PPAP will be prepared (as per agreements between the two parties, including the negotiated TE trigger matrix), a request via ePPAP(via www.te.com or request to TE Sales representative) needs to be initiated by Customer 4 weeks prior to implementation date. In case no request is obtained till above mentioned date, PPAP will be considered as approved, and the change is considered as fully released.Reason for Changes:As a result of a thorough analysis of demand picture, matching our customer needs, we are going to optimize value stream of PNs in scope of this PCN. This transfer will support the need of our customers for shorter lead-times and optimized value streams.First Date To Ship (Changed Parts Only):30-DEC-2025
Description of ChangesManufacturing location change. Following Part Numbers will be transferred of the TE Connectivity manufacturing location internaly, but in the same building. In addition, this PCN replaces the recently issued PCN No. P-24-027338.Reason for Changes:Dear Customer, for continuous strive for improving our processes, we inform you about a processes transfer. According to PPAP Manual 4th Edition 2006, Section 3 - 3.1 Customer Notification, item 3. Production following upgrade or rearrangement of existing tooling or equipment - Rearrangement is defined as activity that changes the sequence of productand process flow from that documented in the process flow diagram ,including the addition of a new processs. Minor adjustments of production equipment may be required do meet safety requirements such as, installation of protective covers, elimination of potential ESD risks, etc. As described in the manual, since it is only a change in the current position of the machine within the same factory, it does not require the submission of a new PPAP. Submitting the PCN is only the communication of the event within the factory, and does not require additional activities, unless there is a Specific Requirem. for this action.
