Powered by Infineon’s CYW4373E silicon, the Sterling-LWB5+ is purpose-built for IoT connectivity through a secure, reliable, and robust feature set. The Sterling-LWB5+ is innovative IoT from the start: fully certified, easy to integrate, and is the fastest route to the market for IoT.

Laird Connectivity’s Sterling-LWB5+ modules are a truly robust industrial IoT device: one that’s rugged, small, simplifies Bills of Materials, is globally certified, has reliable connectivity, and easy to integrate.

The Sterling-LWB5+ is purpose-built for industrial IoT connectivity through a secure, reliable, and robust feature set which includes an integrated Power Amplifier (PA) and Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) with antenna diversity which tailors the LWB5+ to harsh RF environments.

The Sterling-LWB5+ supports the latest WPA3 security standards.

CYW4373E Single-Chip Dual Band WiFi IEEE 802.11ac a/b/g/n MAC/ Baseband/Radio with Bluetooth 5.0 for Industrial Applications

The Infineon CYW4373E single-chip device provides the highest level of integration for Industrial IoT wireless systems with integrated singlestream IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac MAC/baseband/radio and Bluetooth 5.0 (Basic Rate, Enhanced Data Rate and Bluetooth Low Energy).

CYW4373E supports all rates specified in the IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac specifications. IEEE 802.11ac's 256 QAM is supported for MCS8 in 20 MHz channels and MCS8/MCS9 in 40 MHz & 80 MHz channels to enable data rates of up to 433.3 Mbps.

Included onchip are 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz power amplifiers and low-noise amplifiers. Optional external PAs and LNAs are also supported.

The CYW4373E brings the latest mobile connectivity technology for Industrial applications.It also offers Industrial/Extended (–40°C to +85°C) temperature performance.
