Description of Change:Qualification of G600V as an additional/alternative mold compound material for selected products available in 8L, 14L, 16L, 18L, 20L, 28L, 40L PDIP and 28L SPDIP packages at MMT assembly site using gold (Au) wire.Pre Change:Using GE800 mold compound material.Post Change:Using GE800 mold compound material or using G600V mold compound material.Reason for Change:To improve on time delivery performance by qualifying G600V as an addition/alternative mold compound material for selected PDIP and SPDIP packages at MMT assembly site. The PIC12CE673 features 1,024 x 14 words and the PIC12CE674 offers 2,048 x 14 words of OTP program memory. Both devices contain 128 bytes of SRAM and 16 bytes of EEPROM data memory, allowing critical system parameter storage distributed throughout the application. With OTP program memory, the PIC12CE673 and PIC12CE674 enable more than 20x faster programming time typical when compared with a competing Flash-based microcontroller device for one program memory location (100 microseconds versus 2.5 milliseconds, respectively).
This powerful (400 nanosecond instruction execution) yet easy-to-program (only 35 single word instructions) CMOS OTP-based 8-bit microcontroller packs Microchip’s powerful PIC® architecture into an 8-pin package and features 4 channels of 8-bit Analog-to-Digital (A/D) converter and 16 bytes of EEPROM data memory.
