What is changing ? On October 17, 2019, Announcement No. 44 was released by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China (CNCA). This Announcement introduces the new CCC Self-declaration scheme that affects 21 different series of our fuses. CCC Self-declaration introduces a new scheme of how products entering the Chinese Market should comply with Chinese national standards and this scheme went into effect on January 1st, 2020. Manufacturers were given till October 31, 2020 to switch existing certificates to the new CCC Self-declaration certificates. How does it affect our products? The new Scheme requires that we register our existing CCC products with CNCA and in turn we receive a CCC Self-declaration certificate with new certificate number. We obtained the new Certificates and they are available on our website. Please refer to the attached Appendix the correlation between the CCC and CCC Self-declaration certificates. The form, fit and function of the fuses remain unchanged. Similarly, material composition, packaging, manufacturing and quality control process are also unchanged.
We are happy to inform you the majority of affected certificates have been updated, and the few remaining will be done by mid of Oct (see the chart below). There will be running changes to the actual products. Compliance with the new editions did not change the products; fit, form or function but did result in marking updates to some of our fuses. These marking updates include: 1. Addition of CCC certification mark or change of certification mark from CQC to CCC on plastic bag/carton label 2. Addition of CCC certification mark or change of certification mark from CQC to CCC on actual fuse body, and Our datasheets will be updated to reflect the changes accordingly
