PKE Transponder for APGRD001 Reference Design
Features & Applications
APGAC01 is a quick and easy way to expand your Passive Keyless Entry design. If you need additional Key Fobs for your PKE solution the APGAC01 will meet your requirements, the Key Fob is fully compatible with the APGRD001 PKE Reference Design.
The Key Fob receives and decodes the Low Frequency signal from the Base Station. If there is a match, the Key Fob will transmit an Ultra high Frequency signal back to the Receiver/Decoder. The unit can be used in a Remote Keyless Entry Design as well.
The PKE Reference Design (APGRD001) demonstrates a fully functional Passive Keyless Entry system. This system contains 3 independent boards: the Key Fob, the Base Station and the Receiver/Decoder. When the Low-Frequency (LF) Initiator detects a trigger input, a coded 125 kHz message is transmitted. Any transponder within range of this signal receives this message and validates the coded data field. If the Initiator is recognized, a RF (433.92 MHz) KEELOQ® encoded message is transmitted. A standard RKE receiver decodes this packet and, if recognized, the appropriate action is taken.
