Description of change Change of surface material of cell from stainless steel to nickel-plated surface material (as with standard naked cells). Renata has been using coin cells with a stainless steel surface for all above listed tabbed battery models of CR1225. For the bare cells (CR1225.IB), we have always used a nickel plated coin cell material, which is more robust against corrosion. Due to material availability, and for logistic reasons, we have now decided to use the nickel plated coin cell for all our CR1225 variants. This change will not have any effect on fit, form and function nor the quality of the products. It can only be realized, as the nickel plated cells are a bit more shiny than the stainless steel version. The actual change will be carried out as a rolling change from approx. Q3/2022, depending on the actual demand and stocks of the individual types.
We are proud to announce that the following Renata lithium batteries are getting some esthetical update. They will be running change. The most important change is the fact that "RENATA" will appear in the same font as our corporate identity logo. RENATA Your biggest advantage is that Renata's batteries become even more recognizable at first glance. Therefore it will be easier to identify imitations.
