The G3T Series are process sealed ultra-miniature SMT toggles whose size allows high density mounting, and extremely light weight of 0.6 gram makes these switches ideal for handheld equipment. These devices also feature a totally sealed body construction, allowing them to withstand the automated processing techniques,including flux cleaning procedures, one-piece bushing and housing, rubber seals sussounting actuator and base, epoxy at joint of case and base, and molded in, epoxy sealed terminals.
Award-winning STC contact mechanism with benefits unavailable in conventional mechanisms: smoother, positive detent actuation, increased contact stability and unparalleled logic-level reliability. The Gull-wing terminals provide mechanical stability during soldering and simplified solder joint inspection.
The G3T series toggles are available in both single pole and double pole models with a comprehensive offering of eleven circuits in momentary and maintained actions. Toggle actuators can be specified in a myriad of styles and lengths. Options include standard bats, antistatic levers, flatted levers, snap on paddles and colored sleeves.
NKK’s G toggle switches are rated 0.4VA Maximum @ 28V AC/DC maximum. Their subminiature size saves space on PC boards. Engineers can specify from several different mounting options including straight PC in bracketed and unbracketed models, vertical and right angle mounts. Coplanarity all considered surfaces must lie between two parallel planes that are a maximum distance apart of 0.0059" (0.15mm).
