Description of Changes The Industrial and Commercial Transportation business unit of TE Connectivity will be moving a molding module that produces the 23 position right angle header housing from Tullahoma TN facility to the Empalme Mx facility. the new header housing will be designated as cavity D5. This change will take place immediately so that customer delivery will not be affected. Reason for Changes: This change is necessary to replace the current molding module which has surpassed its end of life usage. The change will not impact connector performance. IMPORTANT: The current and previous revisions of these parts can be used interchangeably in the field and previous revisions can remain stocked until used. Drawings are not affected by this change

There is no change in manufacturing location or product. These PNs are TE proprietary designs, therefore considered catalog/general market product. All products you currently receive from our Tullahoma, TN (USA) location will be transitioned to the new Distribution Center at Greensboro, NC (USA). AMPSEAL Right Angle Headers Description of Changes Purpose is advanced notification of manufacturing changes related to AMPSEAL Right Angle Headers. AMPSEAL is a TE Connectivity General Market product line with sales to many customers worldwide. A new right-angle header pin semi-automated stitching and automated testing line work center is being implemented. The new assembly cell will be located at a qualified TE Connectivity Mexico manufacturing location, an IATF certified site. The new line will produce all sizes of the right-angle header. There are no changes to component material or TE suppliers
AMPSEAL Sealed Connector System - Header Assemblies Description of Changes This PCN is an addendum to previous AMPSEAL PCN numbers E-18-008460 (Future PCN 60454). In an effort to maximize our capacity, our intent is to move the molding of the header housing and the dispensing of the flange seal material on the header assemblies from the current TE molding and assembly manufacturing location to a new single TE manufacturing location in Empalme, Sonora, Mexico. This second TE facility is located in the same compound as the current TE facility.
Ampseal Header Products Description of Changes As part of our continuous improvement efforts to provide extraordinary Customer Service, we are pleased to announce the following: To improve the transit time of products to our mutual end customers, TE Connectivity is changing the distribution location for several products manufactured in Mexico currently stored at our Ontario, California or El Paso, Texas distribution centers. Instead we would like to store in our Hermosillo, Mexico DC ASAP. Customers have the option to pick up in Hermosillo, Mexico or to pick up in Nogales, AZ at our cross-dock. Upon receipt, distributor orders will be tendered to the carrier in line with each distributors Incoterms. The proximity of the Nogales cross dock to our Hermosillo, Mexico site will simplify the flow of products across the border. The longer-term intent will be to distribute from a point in the US due to MFG location change (Reference PCN E-18-008460 for MFG Change) during the latter half of 2019.

This product line has seen extensive demand increases that has impacted on-time deliveries. We are notifying you that a duplication of the flange seal material dispensing equipment is being released at the TE manufacturing plant in Empalme, Mx. This equipment will be used to address these significant demand increases in the AMPSEAL product line. Due to the urgency, TE is proceeding with the project and changes above.
