Amkor Technology Japan took 100% ownership of J-Devices last January 2016, and this official name change furthers alignment with Amkor company brand and is intended to provide customer with full benefits of a longer, global company. There has been no change in the range of products and services offer, and the name change will not impact on ongoing and future business.
Description of Change: Cypress announces the company name changed of Mie Fujitsu Semiconductor Limited (MIFS, Concurred Yokohama, 3-1 Kinko-cho, Kanagawa-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa, 221-0056 Japan) which is a qualified wafer fab subcontractor of Cypress to United Semiconductor Japan Co., Ltd. (USJC, Concurred Yokohama, 3-1 Kinko-cho, Kanagawa-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa, 221-0056 Japan). The company name change happened last October 1, 2019. There will be no any change in terms of product quality, form, fit or function. After the name change, all the newly issued internal and external documents (including but not limited to contracts, agreements, etc.), will use the name "United Semiconductor Japan Co., Ltd"
