Type of Change and Reason: Minor Printed Circuit Board (PCB) revision to accommodate a new micro SIM holder. MultiTech has completed a minor board revision to the PCB used for the Dragonfly MTQ-H5-B0x family. The revision was needed to provide a SIM holder that has been identified as being more reliable. The spring mechanism in the old SIM holder may fail with repeated SIM insertions and ejections. The location for the SIM holder opening has not changed. (See drawings in Section IV) Any MTQ-H5-B0x with a Date of Manufacture (DOM) of February 3, 2020 or later will include the new PCB and SIM holder. CVurrent PCB Version Rev. E New PCB Version Rev. F

The MultiConnect® Dragonfly™ embedded cellular System-on-Modules (SoM’s) are fully certified and MNO approved, ready-to-integrate modules that offer developers the functionality of a programmable computing platform with the convenience of an onboard cellular radio all in one compact design.
From a software perspective, Dragonfly is compatible with the ARM® mbed™ programming platform allowing for rapid prototyping, development and deployment. With its integrated Cortex®-M4 processor, developers can host their application and have access to a full suite of interfaces for connecting sensors or other remote assets.
As the first ARM mbed cellular SoM listed on mbed.org that is industry certified and deployment ready, applications can be written and compiled quickly online using developer friendly libraries, downloaded and hosted within the MultiConnect Dragonfly. Decision making and control is distributed to the edge, enabling data to be more actionable without the heavy lift required to implement complex M2M middleware and security protocols needed to deploy a low touch install.
