What is a Logic Chip?

Logic semiconductors process digital data in order to control the operation of electronic systems. Digital circuits are often constructed from small electronic circuits that are called logic gates and that can be used to create combinational logic. When there are complex algorithms or sequences, a small microcontroller is programmed in order to make an embedded system.
