Our Distribution Centers worldwide are compliant to JESD 31 General Requirements for Distributors of Commercial and Military Semiconductor Devices and ESD 625 Requirements for ESD control. Our North American Distribution Center is Certified to AS9120 Aerospace Requirements for Stockist Distributors and ANSI/ ESD S20.20 ESD Control Program requirements.

Environmental Policy
Future Electronics recognizes its responsibility for protecting the environment, preventing pollution and meeting regulatory requirements for environmental protection. We will work in partnership with Customers, Suppliers, Governments and Communities to understand environmental issues and support environmental improvement initiatives.
The Future Electronics Environmental Management System helps to guide our management of natural resources, our disposition of wastes, and our compliance to environmental regulations world wide. Our European Operations are certified to ISO 14000 Environmental Management System requirements and our North American and Asian operations are scheduled for certification later this year.
Lead Free / RoHS compliance
Future Electronics is working closely with Electronic Component Manufacturers and our customers to help manage Lead Free product introduction and meet emerging chemical content legislation requirements in the United States and in our international markets. Future Electronics has developed a comprehensive Lead Free product transition plan and RoHS compliance information management system with the following key objectives:
· To work with manufacturers to develop Lead Free product transition information and part identification methods to meet the needs of the entire supply chain.
· To provide essential information and resources to help customers plan for the introduction of Lead Free/RoHS compliant product.
· To provide Customers with advanced notification of Lead Free product transition, product obsolescence, specification changes, product identification changes, product marking changes and package labeling changes.
· To help customers plan material requirements to ensure uninterrupted supply.
Electronics industry initiatives to introduce Lead Free/RoHS compliant products present a significant set of challenges to be faced by every one in the supply chain:
· RoHS Legislation effective July 1st 2006 imposes Restrictions on Component Chemical Content.
· Component termination finishes are changing.
· Manufacturer’s part numbers may or may not change.
· Some parts containing lead will be discontinued.
· Various manufacturer label formats are appearing.
· Lead free solder assembly profiles will change.
· Various Manufacturer component marking techniques to identify chemical content and RoHS compliance are emerging.
· Manufacturer documentation may be required as evidence of compliance.
