IGBT Modules
The IGBT Modules portfolio from onsemi can be used for automotive application in the traction inverters and for the DC-AC stages of solar inverters, energy storage systems, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and motor drive applications. These state of the art products utilize the new narrow mesa IGBT technology in providing high current density and robust short circuit protection along with higher blocking voltage to deliver outstanding performance.
onsemi also offers the VE-Trac Direct family of highly integrated power modules with industry-standard footprints for Hybrid and Electric Vehicle (HEV) traction inverter application. The latest generation of IGBTs and diodes are incorporated into the VE-Trac products. These modules integrate Field Stop 4 (FS4) IGBTs in a six pack configuration that show low power losses in lighter loads, which helps to improve overall system efficiency in automotive applications.
