The Microchip PDS-408G is an 8+3 port fanless PoE switch for digital ceiling offering a cost-effective IEEE 802.3bt-compliant solution for lighting fixtures and other digital ceiling applications. This PoE allows efficient power and data reception over standard Ethernet cables.

The PDS-408G is an optimal solution for ceiling deployment or communication rooms. Its automatic output PoE power is based on PoE PD device class. This device is highlighted for its ability to deliver 60W on all 8 ports simultaneously, allowing any specific port to go as high as 90W.

The 480W high-speed switch offers Web, SSH, Telnet and CLI management options. The 8 ports range from 10/100/1000 Mbps (Gigabit Ethernet) with PoE BT ports,a s well as 2 Gigabit ports and a 1000M/100M SFP port.
