Murata IRA IRA-S210ST01 Pyroelectric Infrared Sensor

Infrared sensors ideal for use in smart lighting systems

The Murata IRA-S210ST01 is a leaded pyroelectric infrared sensor which provides a good signal-to-noise ratio and reliable performance.

In smart lighting systems, the sensor detects the movement of people inside a room, enabling lighting to be switched on and off automatically depending on whether the area to be illuminated is occupied or not. Used in security equipment as well as lighting control systems, the IRA-S210ST01 helps designers to prevent the risk of false detection events.

The device has a field-of-view of 45°. Responsivity is rated at 4.6 mV. The sensor features a 5 µm long-pass optical filter.
