The BM2P060MF-Z, BM2P061MF-Z, and BM2P063MF-Z from ROHM Semiconductor are highly integrated flyback converter ICs which include a 730 V MOSFET and PWM control functions in a single package. The devices require no additional heat-sink for a power output up to 45 W, and no discharge resistor or capacitors.
The use of these integrated converters helps designers to accelerate development time, simplify system designs, reduce cost, and increase reliability. This makes them an ideal fit for auxiliary power supplies in industrial equipment.
The BM2P06xMF-Z devices operate from an input-voltage range of 11 V to 60 V dc at a switching frequency up to 65 kHz. These regulators support isolated power supplies. The BM2P06xMF-Z devices include low-voltage ac protection and an X-capacitor discharge function.
To increase efficiency in light-load conditions, the BM2P06xMF-Z dc-dc regulators reduce switching frequency and adjust the minimum on-time while performing burst-mode operation.
