Overview:

Tyco Electronics is the worlds leading connector manufacturer.  Tyco Electronics CPC (Circular Plastic Connector) series is one of the most popular all plastic connector in use today.

CPCs lightweight rugged body construction and positive-lock coupling ring ensures this connector family is well suited for a wide variety of applications including operation within harsh environments where operating temperature might vary from -55C to 125C.

Available in panel or chassis mount and free-hanging configurations, the CPC family offers interconnect solutions for wire-to-wire, panel-to-panel and wire-to-board applications.

Series 1 CPC represents the core of the CPC offer, providing the use of multiple combinations of signal and coaxial circuits in the same housing by accepting durable MultiMate contacts. These pin and socket contacts include Type III+ and subminiature coaxial contacts, interchangeable in the same Multimate contact cavity. Type III+ contacts are capable of carrying a maximum of 13 amperes when crimped in wire.

796094-2 is a Series 1 Free Hanging Plug with 4 (pin/male) contact positions housed in a size 11 plastic body.

The 796094-2 comes without contacts.  See Accessories for Contact options.
