Description of ChangesThe Industrial and Commercial Transportation business unit of TE Connectivity is adding a semi-automated assembly line to add extra capacity for the assembly of the part number(s) listed below. These PNs are TE proprietary designs, therefore considered catalog/general market product. Level 1 PPAP request must be submitted within 14 days of PCN submission via ict-ppap-request@te.com or ePPAP system. Submission will not occur without request. If PPAP requested, disposition response is required within 14 days of submit date or it will be considered approved. Samples can be provided upon request. A witness mark will be added after the PN on the weld ring or back shell adapter to signify parts are produced off the semi-automated assembly line.Reason for Changes:Dear Customer, we hereby inform you of this change. The change is necessary to increase assembly capacity to meet Customer demand. The change does not impact connector performance. IMPORTANT: Parts from either assembly process can be used interchangeably in the fi eld. Shipments of both configurations may be mixed.
