Kingbright PLCC-2 Series

0603 LEDs in full color spectrum produce high intensity in backlights and status indicators

Kingbright has introduced a very low-profile, mini PLCC-2 series of surface-mount color LEDs in an industry-standard 0603, 1.6 mm x 0.8 mm footprint. The PLCC-2 package is just 0.55 high.

 

The new Kingbright AA1608 series of reliable LEDs produces a high-intensity output: it is up to twice as intense as that of standard 0603 chip-type LEDs. The LEDs have a wide viewing angle of 120°. 

 

Low power consumption and support for automated assembly make the AA1608 LEDs ideal for use in backlight and indicator applications.
