Littelfuse — KSC DCT Tactile Switches

The KSC dual circuit technology (DCT) series products from Littelfuse are IP67-rated momentary-action switches which give users a positive, adaptable tactile response. 

The KSC DCT series is the first tactile switch to offer single-pole double-throw functionality in a small 6.2 mm x 6.2 mm x 5.2 mm enclosure.  

The KSC DCT switches’ dual-circuit technology provides advanced safety functionality in a small form factor. The switch allows precise monitoring of the status of an electro-mechanical tactile switch, even when the switch is not in use, helping the system to distinguish a silent signal from a device malfunction. 

This active failure verification enabled by the switch’s single-pole double-throw configuration means that the system can detect faults such as an unwanted door opening.
