Vishay — IHLP Low-Profile Inductors

Vishay supplies a range of low-profile inductors which give designers of automotive, industrial, and commercial applications a variety of space-saving options.

The IHLP^® low-profile inductors are available in 10 footprint options ranging from the 1212 size with a footprint of 3 mm x 3 mm, up to the 8787 with a footprint of 22 mm x 22 mm. The package height options range from the 1.0 mm profile of the 1212 package, to the 13 mm profile of the 8787 package.

As well as offering valuable space savings, the IHLP devices also provide higher performance than the commonly used ferrite inductor type. The IHLP inductors give highly stable inductance over a wide current-rating range, while ferrite inductor inductance typically drops dramatically at currents higher than 10 A.

The IHLP low-profile inductors are available in a choice of five materials, including a low dc resistance type, and two high-temperature series which have a maximum temperature rating of 155°C or 180°C.
