FTM / Intelligent Sensing / Panasonic Industry — AQY4C2Pxx PhotoMOS MOSFET Relays
Panasonic Industry has added a 1 Form B type to its family of capacitive-coupled (CC) PhotoMOS® MOSFET relays, which are supplied in a space-saving, surface-mount TSON package.
The AQY4C2Pxx relays have a switching capacity of 60 V/0.15 A, and are just one-eighth the size of comparable relays housed in an SOP4 package. The TSON MOSFET relay also draws just 10% of the current required by MOSFET relays in a SOP4 package, contributing to board footprint and energy savings in space-constrained applications.
The CC MOSFET relays differ from other PhotoMOS relays in that the isolation between input and output is not optical but capacitive. This provides benefits in the temperature range, drive power and switching times:
● Maximum 105°C ambient temperature
● 0.04 mA control current
● Input interface operates directly at 3.3 V, so the series resistor required by optically-coupled PhotoMOS relays is not necessary
