Front-flip FFC/FPC connectors provide fast and reliable terminations

The new FFC2B35 series of front-flip flat flexible cable (FFC) and flexible printed circuit (FPC) connectors from Global Connector Technology (GCT) combines exceptional performance with pricing which will appeal to designers of cost-conscious applications.

 

The FFC2B35 products, which are available with from four to 60 contacts, offer an alternative to the slide and back-flip actuator products already available from GCT.

 

The front-flip actuator is hinged along the whole of the connector’s body. This increases the mechanical integrity and reliability of the connector. The front-flip actuator also provides for quick and easy assembly with the mating cable.

 

The FFC2B35 features two additional solder tags for enhanced PCB retention.

 

Custom FFC cables from GCT complement the FFC2B35 connectors. Customers can use GCT’s online part number builder to configure a custom cable specification.
