The TWN4 MultiTech 2 RFID reader modules from ELATEC are supplied in a compact form factor and offer numerous interfaces, easing integration into any type of host device.

The TWN4 MultiTech 2 family of contactless RFID readers and modules from ELATEC enables users to read and write to almost any RFID standards-compliant low- and high-frequency tags and labels. They also support NFC connectivity.

These ELATEC modules are available with either an NXP or LEGIC front-end. Support for Bluetooth® Low Energy networking is an optional feature.

The TWN4 MultiTech 2 modules are compatible with the Android™ and iOS smartphone operating systems: this makes it easy to integrate them into mobile identification applications.

The modules are supported by a powerful software development kit which enables developers to write application software which is executed directly on the module. The SDK also provides the capability to upgrade the module’s firmware in the field, and enables transparent data exchange via RFID.
