The change has no impact to form-fitfunction. TE Change process follows a strict procedure, which fully maintains quality and ability to supply. Internal release process is ensured by TE, including product validation as per OEM/CAM requirements (when applicable). Validation will be initiated and completed according to project plan, as soon as samples are available.PPAP/ PPA and samples will be prepared (as per agreements between the two parties). A request via www.te.com needs to be initiated by Customer in 2 weeks after the creation date of this PCN. In case no request is obtained till above mentioned date, PPAP/ PPA will be considered as approved, and the change is considered as fully releasedReason for Changes:As a result of a thorough analysis of demand picture, matching our customer needs, we are going to optimize value stream of PNs in scope of this PCN. Description of Changes: This product change notification (PCN) is to inform you about a change in delivery unit & minimum order quantity (MOQ) impacting PNs listed below in this PCN. Change was already communicated via P-23-024531 but new PCN informs about postponed activation date: As of February 20, 2024 we will increase the delivery unit & the min. order quantity according to attached file. The order quantity should therefore be not less than the MOQ and should be dividable through the MOQ. Dimensions and material of product and shipping box will stay the same. The change has no impact to form-fit-function. TE Change process follows a strict procedure, which fully maintains quality and ability to supply. The product in scope of this PCN is TE general sales / catalogue product, therefore TE reserves the right to determine delivery unit & MOQ. No PPAP will be submitted for this PCN. It is kindly requested to adjust order quantities before the activation on February 20, 2024 to avoid blocked orders.Reason for Changes: New specification. To assure standardized and uniform packaging for each basic product part number, to improve sustainability and minimize quality risks.
General Product Description:Multiple part numbersDescription of ChangesTE is changing its system as it relates to minimum order quantities for the part numbers listed to address trends that have been recently observed. We have identified situations where quantities can be ordered at quantities below what our standard packaging requirements allow. The situation also results in non-standard handling (break-pack) and creates risks for damage during transit to our customers. Therefore, we are making changes to align minimum order quantities with appropriate standard packaging requirements for these part numbers.Reason for Changes:Product improvement.In addition to the above, please note that this change will become effective on the date listed in this notification for listed part numbers and minimum order quantities. TE will not be liable for any orders placed for shipments after this date that do not meet our new minimum order requirements or other related impacts, e.g., scorecard performance associated with over-shipment quantities. If there are any concerns with alignment in your systems to match new minimum order quantity requirements by the effective date listed, please reach out to your TE account manager as quickly as possible, and at a minimum, 10 working days prior to effective change date.
