Bosch Sensortec — BMA490L High-Performance Longevity Acceleration Sensor

The Bosch Sensortec BMA490L is a unique, high-performance longevity acceleration sensor best used in consumer and industrial applications where the lifetime of the product is important. The BMA490L sensor by Bosch Sensortec is a 16-bit, digital, triaxial acceleration sensor with a wealth of embedded intelligence such as on-chip motion-triggered interrupt features, which are optimized for industrial applications.

In a compact package size, the BMA490L sensor features extended availability up to 10 years, making it ideal for the long lifecycles of industrial applications such as Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) and robots. The sensor also features high-performance measurement mode with low pass filters and a current consumption of 150μA in full-operation mode, able to handle significant temperature fluctuations.

In the BMA490L low-power mode, the sensor is able to meet current consumption requirements of numerous applications. Other capabilities include programmable functionality, on-chip FIFO and interrupt features, a secondary auxiliary interface and more. The highly-configurable and flexible Bosch BMA490L is ROHS compliant and halogen free.
