Hirose Electric — DF51K Wire-to-Board Connector

The DF51K series from Hirose are robust, wire-to-board connectors which offer an unusual level of strength and durability in applications exposed to harsh conditions. 

These connectors feature a strong center lock which allows the connectors to be placed side-by-side to save space on the board. The connectors are compatible with wire sizes from AWG 22 to AWG 30. 

Mating is simple to perform, and a clear tactile click confirms secure engagement and a reliable connection. The connectors are polarized: guide keys prevent incorrect mating. 

A strong contact lance increases the reliability of contact retention in the housing, and prevents the contacts from pulling loose if the cables are wrenched.  

The DF51K connectors are available in many variants to provide designers with the flexibility to choose the right connector configuration for each application. Single- or double-row connectors are supplied in a straight or right-angle housing, with the option of gold or tin plating.
