High-capacity MLCCs save space in mobile and wearable applications

TAIYO YUDEN has introduced the MEAS series multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs), compact devices which offer a high ratio of capacitance to size to give a new, space-saving option for manufacturers of mobile or wearable devices.

The MEAS series, supplied in a range of compact case options, benefits from advanced materials technology to provide high capacitance, helping manufacturers to reduce board footprint.  

 

Based on proprietary material technology developed by TAIYO YUDEN, the MEAS series of MLCCs enables device manufacturers to populate the PCB densely, providing high capacitance in a small space. 

Features

  • Capacitance range: 0.22 µF to 330 µF
  • Case-size range: 0.4 mm x 0.2 mm to 3.2 mm x 2.5 mm
  • Rated-voltage range: 2.5 V to 16.0 V
  • Operating-temperature range options:
    -55°C to 85°C, -55°C to 105°C
