The RA73 series from TE Connectivity (TE) is a range of high-stability precision thin-film chip resistors which offer an excellent power-to-size ratio: the resistors in an 0603 chip size have a power rating of 0.5 W, and those in the 0805 size have a 1 W rating.
The RA73 aluminum nitride thin-film resistors are available in versions which feature a temperature coefficient of resistance of 25 ppm/°C or 50 ppm/°C. The products’ aluminum nitride substrate provides high thermal conductivity.
Tolerance of resistance is as low as 0.1% in the 0603 products. Standard resistance values conform to the specifications of the IEC 63 E96 and E24 grids.
The RA73 resistors have accurate and uniform physical dimensions to facilitate the use of automatic placement equipment.
