Robust dc-dc contactors safely switch up to 1,000 V loads

The TE Connectivity ECK series of dc-dc contactors performs arc prevention to maintain safe operation in renewable and battery energy systems as well as industrial mobility applications.

The ECK series of dc-dc contactors from TE Connectivity (TE) provides a safe and reliable solution for switching high voltages up to 1,000 V dc in energy and mobility products.

 

Filled with hydrogen gas and featuring ceramic hermetic sealing technology, these contactors provide excellent arc extinguishing capability. The ECK dc-dc contactors support bi-directional loads. Normally open auxiliary contacts permit smart monitoring of the status of the main contact.

 

Across eight product variants, the ECK dc-dc contactors offer current ratings ranging from 50 A to 250 A, and a maximum continuous carry current specification ranging from 100 A to 500 A. The contactors are panel-mounted with a screw termination.
