FTM / Motion/Motor Control / Kingston — SDCIT2 Series Industrial MicroSD Cards
In the SDCIT2 series, Kingston supplies a range of industrial microSD cards that withstand the harsh and demanding environmental conditions to which industrial equipment can be exposed.
Specified for use over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, the SDCIT2 memory cards can operate normally even in the extreme heat of the desert as well as in Arctic conditions. The SDCIT2 also provides the endurance and reliability required in mission-critical industrial applications. Based on triple-level cell (TLC) NAND Flash memory operating in pseudo-SLC (single-level cell) mode, these microSD cards are specified for a minimum of 30,000 program/erase cycles.
Reliability features built into the SDCIT2 include bad block management, strong error correction code (ECC) to reduce the risk of bit errors, protection against data loss in the event of power failure, wear leveling, and a dynamic data refresh function. An optional health monitoring tool may be used to manage the lifetime of the card.
The Kingston industrial microSD cards are shipped with a UHS-I SD adapter. Memory capacity options are 8 Gbytes, 16 Gbytes, 32 Gbytes, and 64 Gbytes. UHS-I compliant, the SDCIT2 microSD cards offer data-transfer rates of up to 100 Mbytes/s with U3, V30 and A1 support for Android™ operating system-based applications.
