DESCRIPTION OF CHANGESAll changes have been applied to the part numbers listed on the attached:- Change the MAC OUI from C0EE40 to B0FB15 for Ethernet MACs.- Change the MAC OUI from C0EE40 to B0FB15 for Wi-Fi MACs.REASON FOR CHANGEAs part of a normal consumption of MAC addresses for our connectivity products, available MAC addresses for a specific OUI are exhausted and a new OUI is required to allow continued supply of unique MAC addresses for Laird Connectivity products.Our OUI C0EE40 is nearing the end of the available MAC addresses and a new OUI is needed to maintain supply of products without interruption.ANTICIPATED IMPACT OF THE CHANGE:• The OUI change has no hardware or electrical impact on the devices.• However existing software images generated by the customer or Laird Connectivity will not have operational Wi-Fi connectivity on the updated hardware.• All customers generating custom software images need to contact our Support Team to receive an updated Board Support Package (BSP) that supports the new OUI• Labeling of the devices utilizing the new OUI (B0FB15) will change. The change is to replace the old OUI with the new one. Examples, by product, are shown in section 5 of the PCN.
