TE has expanded its plating capability with the addition of lines at multiple suppliers as well as insourcing into our internal plating facility when possible. This change aims to enhance the reliability and flexibility of our supply chain. These plating vendors have been confirmed technically feasibility via sample trials or series production releases of similar products. These plating vendors will perform the standard control and quality measures on individual production batches, which are obligatory to comply with our internal series production and product specifications. Minor optical differences may be possible due to different tooling, but control measurements for thickness and adhesion will be maintained. All other process steps during the manufacturing of our products will remain according to our existing releases. General Description of ChangesValued customer, with this product change notification, we want to inform you, that for our connectors with part numbers listed below, we will expand the supply chain of the raw material of contacts, shieldings and solder clips to a second raw material supplier. The serial production shall start in June 2025. The second source material will be operated without part number change, will increase reliability of supply chain and has no impact on form, fit or function of these products. Internal product and process approval process will be performed. The expansion to a secound source enables TE to increase the flexibility and reliability of the supply chain.Reason for Changes:Second source for raw material
